ABOUT US Tony Mogavero & Kenneth Fata are the co-founders of Area Rugs Direct, LLC, a new innovative concept for decorating and interior design. Founded in 2005, Area Rugs Direct was the first to bring this concept to the Tampa Bay Area. In 2008, we have served Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando; and we are now expanding to Sarasota area. Our vision was to provide our customers with great selection and service that exceeded their expectations, as reflected by the testimonials we have collected over the years. In the beginning we recognized that impoverished countries used child labor, so we sought out manufacturers that we were certain did not break child labor laws and were monitored by Woolmark® and other regulatory agencies. We also decided that as our success grows, we would find a charity to benefit from our growth in the Tampa. Bay Area. The charity we have chosen is the Children’s Dream Fund, a St. Petersburg based charity to “benefit children with life threatening illnesses." Area Rugs Direct is an innovative shop at home service, helping consumers choose the right area rugs for their decor. We personally bring our unique selection of imported area rugs directly to your door, making your home a showroom. Providing an affordable solution and priceless expertise, we take the guesswork out of purchasing an area rug.
