I had been looking for a dining room rug for months, when Area Rugs Direct offered a "Big Deal" on Angie's list. I have no sense of design and I’m especially bad with color.
I’ve dragged numerous, large rugs home, only to be disappointed, so I gave Area Rugs Direct a try.
Tony, the owner, came as scheduled with rug samples. He laid the samples in place in the dining room, giving me the opportunity to see exactly what I was getting before I ordered anything. I never would have chosen the color or pattern on my own and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the rugs looked.
Tony discounted the retail price of both rugs in addition to the $250. I saved using the Angie’s List Big Deal. I bought two rugs, which Tony delivered a few days later. He insisted on moving the furniture and putting the rugs in place himself.

Tony (company owner) brought some rugs to look at. We wanted to replace an old oriental rug. We bought an Indian wool rug that he brought, plus a smaller one of the same pattern for later delivery.
What a concept. We have bought so many rugs in the store that just weren't what we expected at home. This in-home thing is great.
And the price was reasonable. And Tony is a great guy to work with.
This is the way to do it.
